Time for Akershus Breakfast Before A & E Meet and Greet?

We have an 8:05 ADR for Akershus during the first week of June. We have never eaten at Akershus before, so I'm not familiar with how long the meal and princess interaction lasts. Based on the conclusion that Anna and Elsa are moving to EPCOT around May 28th, will we likely have time to eat and then get in line to see Anna and Elsa before the line gets very long? I'm guessing that we'll be seated right away since it's the first ADR of the day (or close to the first) and I know that there may not be certainty about how the A&E meet and greet will go since they haven't moved to EP yet, but I know there are many of you who have excellent advice! TIA!

I would estimate at least an hour for the meal, and probably even a bit longer. And in our experience, they are usually running behind, even for early reservations. When you enter you stop for a photo with Belle (typically). Then you go in to eat and each princess comes to your table. Depending on how long folks keep them at their tables, your time can vary.

It's hard to guess on A&E since we don't know for sure when they will come over. If the park opens at 9 and you leave breakfast and go right over, it could still be a lengthy wait as I would suspect most would head straight there just like they do at MK now. If they do EMH at 8......

For that matter, we don't even know for sure A&E will open at park open, rather than at WS Open (11AM).

First off, it is not a " conclusion" A & E will meet in Epcot starting May 28th, it is a rumor. Second, what makes you think any Epcot M & G will be open at 9, not 11 when WS opens. It is all pure speculation as of now & misleading to post This way, at best.

No one knows. A & E may not even start greeting guests at 11 when WS opens. I world book my meal, enjoy it, and if there are FP for the Ladies, I would just book one.

When A&E were originally in Epcot we had 8AM ADR for Akershus. When we got seated we asked for the check upfront since we were trying to get to A&E before the hoardes of people. Anyways we were all quick to go up to the cold buffet and did not dilly dally while eating. My hubby was the first to finish so he went out ahead of us and got on line. He was about the 5th of 6th person in line. Funny part was everyone in line at that time were dads lol...after we finished eating we met up with him and it worked out great! I think as long as u have a plan and are organized it is absolutely doable!

Wow. This was not meant to be a contentious question. Is speculation that much different than a conclusion? My question was not meant to mislead anyone. Do you have a different "speculation" about why there aren't any FP for Anna and Elsa after May 26th or 27th (not sure of the exact date)?

I know that there may not be certainty about how the A&E meet and greet will go since they haven't moved to EP yet, but I know there are many of you who have excellent advice! TIA!

Also, I did indicate that there isn't certainty about how the meet and greet will go.

When Anna and Elsa were at EPCOT before, did they meet starting at 9:00 or 11:00?

Just because there are no MK FP after May 27 doesn't mean they'll be moved May 28. It means Disney is being cautious.

After all, look at Rivers of Light. It has an announced debut date, but no times for any date after. A&E don't even have that much.

Good point about Rivers of Light. I guess I'm just getting a little over-anxious. :flower1:

Thank you, everyone, for your valuable input!
