Alright, everyone guess what they think the average wait time per ride will be within the first month of WWoHP opening?

Forbidden Journey: 3 hour wait most of the day

Every other ride: 90+ min wait

I don't think you're too far off.

Think that will be pretty close :thumbsup2

That makes me nervous! We planned our first US vacation for the end of April with no idea about WWoHP until I came to these boards! We'll be onsite- what do wait times usually look like in the Express lines with crowds like that?

Wait times for the Express lines could reach 30-45 minutes during the really busy season when the parks are walll to wall but if WWoHP isn't open by that time, you won't have anything to worry about.

If WWOHP is open your unlimited express pass for onsite hotel guest will only be able to be used once per ride per day or at least thats what I was told and thats for WWOHP only cause it will still be unlimited for everything else

Well actually what I usually find is that when the new attractions are eating up crowds with their 3 hour lines, the rest of the park usually has relatively low wait times.

So I'll say 120-180min for Potter, and the rest will vary between short to long waits as usual.

I have a feeling this ride will not be high capacity, which could dramatically affect the wait times.

So IMO it's not about the number of guests who will be there, but the ride capacity which will determine the wait times. For all we know it could be a constantly loading attraction on a conveyor belt, or it could be loading several "cars" at one time...who knows?

If Universal lets the Express become that much of a wait for the non-Harry rides, I believe they will be shooting themselves in the foot. They try very hard to limit the number of Express passes sold, and I would be surprised if they oversold or underestimated to the point that the Express lines for the other rides were that long. The length of the Express lines dictate the wait on most, not the regular lines.

That said, the Harry lines are going to be loooooooong.

We'll see won't we?

Trike Encounter is being worked on to open up when Potter opens in order to disperse some of the crowds, so I have a feeling that this summer, IOA will be PACKED. I mean JAM PACKED. Probably hit capacity for the first time.

So what is "Trike Encounter"? Is that the old or original (depends how you look at it) animatronic triceratops that you would watch a TM "work" with in a pen in the JP section of IA?

You use to follow this little path and then be allowed to gather close to the pen to watch. The TM, possing as a zoologist (or something) would "exaimine" the Trike and even, I kid you not, collect a urine sample!

I had two small boys at the time who were over the moon about anything dino so we spent many a looong afternoon at IA watching this show. LOL.

I think that everything in IOA will be slammed. After all people will be buying passes to the park and they will go ahead and see other things too.

I don't know what to think about the Studios though.

Yes, you got it correct. Supposedly one of the most advanced animatronic ever created, I thought it was a good show, but too short to be able to show off all of it's "natural" abilities. If it re-opens i'll be excited to see if it is changed from the last time any

I agree based on what I saw with HRRR...Do you think it will die down a little by this coming Christmas?:yay:
