Fruit flies like a banana

at any rate, sometimes for no apparent reason I will become distracted, like the night of our last DIS meet, I was supposed to make reservations at one of the local restaurants but instead booked us on a train to the Catskills, boy was my face red. Anyhoo, they(the train people), were kind enough to let us take a picture in the dining car providing we didn't hang spoons from our faces (wonder how they found out about that). This is the only picture I managed to get because I accidently gave the camera batteries to an oboe player outside of the train station. As you can see the twins wore the same outfit again, they're so weird

also my DVD pick of the week is 50 Horror Classics, that's right 50. You get some of the classics, Carnival of Souls, Nosferatu, Night of the Living Dead, Little Shop of Horrors, the Hunchback of Notre Dame, Dementia 13, The Phantom of the Opera and Metropolis. Then there are the usual 4 or 5 Karloff, 3 or 4 Lugosi and 3 or 4 Price movies. Plus a nice dose of really awful movies such as Attack of the Giant Leeches, The Beast of Yucca Flats, The Giant Gila Monster, The Killer Shrews, Swamp Woman and Phantom form 10,000 Leagues . Overall a steal for 25-30 bucks, so get your comfy clothes, fry up some corn dogs, make some popcorn and get out the root beer float makins, we're goin to the drive-in

hi DIS folks

Shore is good to see ya Ran but I don't recognize any of the dudes in that photo. Wait, maybe the guy in the plaid shirt. Yeah, methinks he's possibly my neighbor but what the heck is he doing on a train going to the Catskills? How odd, but not unusual I suppose.

As far as movies go, it really depends on which version of Little Shop of Horrors, ya know? I think I'll wait and render my decision/choice after I find out which one it is.
*p.s. I really really REALLY like Steve Martin as the evil nitrous inhaling dentist*

I've got my food ready but sadly and fairly recently I've had to archive my corndogs. I think if I soak 'em in hot water they might re-generate though (which golly NED, sounds like a great story line for a new horror flick! where's my video camera?).......

gosh, it's good to see ya though.

I was page six'ed

Hiya MeanLaureen!

hey ho DisMN

the guy in the plaid shirt is Famous Uncle Bob, but I'm not sure why, we don't think he's famous or even our uncle but he showed up at a meet one day and has been with us ever since, go figure

sorry but to us purists, there is only one Little Shop of Horrors and Steve was not in it, but the real is so much better.

Attack of the Re-generated Corndogs sounds like a winner to me, I'll have my machine call your machine, I think Guttenburg is available

Dear Bashful Ran,
Guttenburg? Ya mean the Steve-O?
I DID have a little extra treat for us, cotton candy, but did you know if you make it, package it up and put it in your cupboard for a week or so it does a David Copperfield on ya? Now you know. ::yes::

I noticed you were page six'ed and I truly felt awful about it but I figured you'd find it no matter how far back it went. I was right, as usual.
I must admit to being a tad disappointed about Little Shop being the old version, but if you'd be willing to throw in The Tingler I'd prolly get over my feelings of sadness. Deal?

Oh and....I found your Uncle Bob.
He has his own blog called Uncle Bob's Diary O' Chuckles.
I'm jealous of you. He sounds like a VERY cool Uncle indeed! *just google him. you can't miss him.*
