Just when I was smug and thought, thank goodness all is done...I was on my last load of laundry and heading to bed and.....The tree looked like it was in otion. I looked not cat climbing it? It is tied up with fishing line just incase.
I do have 2 little kids So I always tie it up.
I digress I got back to sorting my socks.
And down comes the tree.
It's an artificial tree the stand snapped in 2. Broken.
The good news is I just finished picking up each and every ornament and not a single one is broken. Not one!
So I guess tommorow I had better find a new tree. After all where will Santa leave all the kids loot. Wait till they awake and see no tree. Not a good thing.
