Tikiman or anyone, is the rehab for the Poly on schedule?

We've booked a lagoon view for December and I would like to stay in the Tahiti longhouse. The rehab notes in Deb Wills site shows the longhouse to be done April 24th to August 17th.

When I called in February to make my reservations for the summer, I requested Tahiti & asked them if it iwas going to be up for rehab.

The CM said she didn't see anything in her computer on that. I know I have to call again soon to pay some more & I will check to see if they know anything new.

As far as I know they should be done with Tahiti before December. I got an email today with some new things happening there but no mention that the schedule for Tahiti has changed.

I wish I could say more because they have some BIG plans for many things but it is still not set in stone and I was asked to wait till they say I can post it.

The Poly is such a great resort, it will be interesting to find out what changes are in store!!

How is your little guy? I hope you and your wife are getting sleep. The first year is magical but can be exhausting!

Kai is doing well and growing fast.

Yeah I am very excited for many of the changes myself and I will post them on my pages when I am told I can. Things just change very often there but I guess a huge group of Disney Bigwigs were there and going over many of the new ideas that will happen sooner than you might think. I think some of these things they wanted to do before but they had to move it over into this years budget since they spent so much on the work done to the older longhouses the last few years.
