Will a family of 5 (husband, wife, 9yr old, 3yr old, 10 month old) go crazy in one room at Pop? Also how inconvenient is the daily nap time break going to be there?
with your 2 kids being so young, you will fit no doubt. BUT, yes, its going to be a tight squeeze for sure. I'd at least move up to a moderate resort where you'd have QUEEN beds.
It will be a tight fit. As far as the nap goes, if everyone naps, no problem. If the adults are up and the kids all sleep, then maybe take turns going to the gift shop or hanging out by the pool? The only way around that being a problem is to book a family suite at the All Star Music or Art of Animation resort.
Maybe consider a cabin at Fort Wilderness. They have a living room/kitchen area to hang out in. Bedroom with double bed & bunks. Also Murphy bed in living room.
I think you'll be fine, to be honest. While it is double beds - that doesn't matter to your three kids! Yes - it's not going to be roomy - but it's ALOT cheaper than moving up to moderate. You'll need to fold up the stroller to have space for the pack n play. And you'll need to stay organized.
As for napping mid-day - that's a hassle no matter where you stay in terms of time lost. Travel time to and from a resort is annoying. The only way that will be easier at all is if you move up to something that has two rooms because then at least you can put the little ones in one room down for the nap and the rest of you stay up. But - the idea that one of stays with the little ones in the room and the other one goes off with the older one to explore the resort is good. Or - ALL go down for a nap (which I seriously doubt will actually happen).
A moderate room isn't going to be much bigger and the moderates have 2 sinks outside the bathroom vs 1 in the values so the actual bathroom with tub is smaller at moderates.
I found my kids who would never nap in their stroller at home did so at Disney.
It'll be tight but room wise you will all fit. I'd be more concerned with the napping situation. One of the main reasons we got a suite at AOA on our last trip is because my kids HAVE to nap or they turn into monsters and napping in strollers doesn't work for them.
