So now I'm stressing about our photos timeframe. The wedding is at noon, and the reception should be over by 1:30. I had originally booked Randy for noon-3pm, but now I'm thinking (after all of Maggimus' rave reviews) that an hour and a half might be too much time just for pics.
We have the Garden View Lounge booked for 2pm, but a half hour for pics seems waaaaay too short.
I wrote to Randy and explained the timing and told him all of the picture spots I had in mind (inside the WP after the ceremony, Picture Point, GF beach, GF fountain, GF staircase) and told him that whatever he thinks is best, we'll just go with that! DF and I are going to see each other the morning of anyway, so if he thinks pics before the ceremony are a good idea, then that's fine.
In other news, I bought boutonnieres, flowers to make corsages, bubbles, a veil, and toasting glasses last night from Michael's and AC Moore. I also ordered my jewelry and tiara from eBay. I alos bought invitations a while ago and totally forgot to mention it. I'll post pics soon!
I really want to make programs for the ceremony, as DF's mom only speaks spanish and my family doesn't. DF's mom will be doing a reading in spanish, so I wanted to print up bi-lingual programs so that everyone would always be able to follow along. The plan was to find either a stamp, stencil, or one of those punch-out thingies of Cinderella's castle to use on the front, but I haven't been able to find anything.
I'm also having a bit of a dilemma as far as transportation for my MOH. She had an accident almost 2 years ago which left her paralyzed and now she uses a power wheelchair. She'll be using a manual one for this trip, but this still creates a problem of how do we get her from Pop to the WP? Tanis said there is a wheelchair-accessible van we can rent... for $63/hour with a 3-hour minimum. I did the calculations, and just for the two short trips she'll need to make (Pop to WP, Contemporary back to Pop at night) that would cost almost $400!! So now I've begun looking into taxi services with accessible vehicles, but the only one I've found so far is Mears, who told me they cannot guarantee a pickup time! Sooo... we might end up having to rent a van for the day instead.
