I really don't think that he did anything wrong. I think this woman thought she could get something out of Disney and had to try to get this poor guy by digging for gold.

The sad thing is that I don't think that Disney will give him his job back, too much publicity. I'll be interested to see how that turns out.

When I read previous threads about this incident, you just heard one side of the story, but then they said other people reported be groped by Tigger also.

Then I read the mother and dd were just trying to get money out of Disney.

So who lied?

the best thing they could do is give his job back, publically announcing they believe he was wrongfully accused and the trial verified that belief,,

otherwise he has a lawsuit for being unjustly terminated, and all other characters will do their jobs with fear, of accusation and termination..

I'm glad they found him innocent.

Like almost all of us, I've had my photo taken with a bunch of Disney characters. Yes, they put their 'hands' on you. I'm short, so when a character puts his arm around my waist, there have been times when there's been a 'brushing' against my chest. Big deal!

I have to say that, not once, did I ever believe I was being groped.

For heaven's sake, these poor people can barely see where they're walking, let alone what body parts they are touching.

I, too, believe the family saw an opportunity in going after Disney.

As far as who to believe....this woman filed the lawsuit prior to reporting the incident to the police! The "other" people were only mentioned once, I don't believe that there were others. Also, if something like that happened to you at a theme park, don't you think you'd report it to someone of authority before you left?

People like this woman make it worse for people that really are molested.

I agree 100%..

I have to wonder why the husband who took the picture is now the ex-husband, perhaps he didn't want to spend his life with a person capable of such fraudulent behaviour..

Okay, I had to do a search for the original posting about this. I'm amazed that the attitude here is that it was all baloney because in the first posting many people didn't think it was so blatantly false. Unfortunately some of the links no longer work but you can certainly pick up some stuff from the gist of everyone's thinking.

Whatever happened to the confiscated pictures? Why did the fiance do an about face when she was very supportive at first? Being found not guilty by a jury is all fine and dandy but I sure learned from the OJ mess that trials aren't always about truth.

I hope nothing really happened but I don't think Disney should rehire either.

It does? Who do you believe?

The odd thing that caught my attention is that the jury said the prosecution couldn't even prove who was in the Tigger costume but the defendant said he sent a letter of apology to the girl.

I noticed the same thing. I was amazed when this story first came out at the attitude toward this guy on the DIS boards. I wondered at the time what had happened to the "Innocent Until Proven Guilty" thing. People on this board were ready to hang the guy. Now, the attitude seems totally opposite. I did not go back and compare names, but it is strange how drastically opinions change around here.
