We've booked a ROL dining package and I chose Tiffins. Although none of us (me, DH, DD19, DD17) are super picky, the menu looks a little "adventurous" for my youngest DD. Anyone have any first hand knowledge of the food / atmosphere that they would like to share? TIA!

We have eaten lunch at Tiffins 2x (both times they had a special cheaper pre-fixed lunch menu [2 items for $28] but we had to ask for it the 2nd time we went so I don't know if it's always available or not). We LOVED it. Our 19 yo DS not as much (he wasn't with us the first time). Our DS isn't a big beef eater - I think if he'd have ordered the beef tho he would have been happier. We're waiting for the RoL dining packages to come out for July (right now they stop at June 30th) - but we'll do Tusker House because we can't get a discount on these packages so Tusker fits the wallet better (already have several other pricey ADR's booked). We have TIW but so ONE DAY we'll spring for dinner at Tiffins. The beef is AAAAMMMAAAAZZZZIIINNNGGGG and the place is GORGEOUS!!!!!

From the appetizers list the octopus is different. Not bad but also not OMG I need to have it again good either. The fried mussels are yummy - we love those and ordered them both times we went. The Chermoula-rubbed chicken is good - not as good as the beef but probably the most main-stream thing on the menu if you can call it that other than the beef. But that BEEF. OMG. I just can't say enough how FANTASTIC that beef is....the chimichurri sauce on top is incredible too. It's just perfect.

The one thing about Tusker House other than being cheaper is there's a bigger selection and since it's a buffet there's something for everyone.

Our current favorite TS on WDW property right now. We had a few drinks at Nomad Lounge first then ate a Tiffins. My son had some sort of fish, I can't remember and I had lamb. We had great service, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was great

We went the first weekend it opened. My DS ordered the kids' chicken and I ordered the strip loin. He ate almost my entire meal, LOL! Perhaps your DD could ask for something from the kids' menu as it is a bit plainer? The food is very good. I will definitely try to get ADR's for the ROL package for our trip in August.

ok - i'm SOLD on keeping the Tiffins ADR! I had no idea that it was so highly regarded!
Good call! :). We had it booked once during our last trip and liked it so much that we booked it again for another day. :thumbsup2

One word describes my meal experience at Tiffins last November: AWESOME! Beautiful restaurant and the food was delicious!

We ate here in January- and were hesitant because we aren't very adventurous eaters. It was superb!! Service was excellent and all of our food was amazing!

We are not very adventurous eaters either and the fish with the head on it freaks me out. What did you eat there? We have an upcoming reservation there. The glazed fish sounds good.

We will be heading back for a 3rd time in August. It's fabulous. The hoisin glazed grouper is amazing! It reminds me of the black cod at Morimoto and Nobu. The chermoula chicken was good too. It tasted like a kebab with good spices. I will be getting the grouper again on our next visit though. DH loved the wagyu and short ribs. He's gotten it twice now.

I wouldn't eat the whole fish either!! I had the hoisin grouper, DH the pork, and DS the wagyu beef. For an appetizer, we had the bread service. The atmosphere was amazing! So quiet!

We are in the minority, but we didn't care for it. We didn't like the food whatsoever and also thought the theming was done on the cheap.

I tried Tiffins on my last trip and I was so impressed that I cancelled my O'hana reservation for later in the week so I could go back again. The passion fruit tapioca cream dessert alone was worth the return trip.

We loved it in September (both had the beef) and are planning to go back on our next trip. Also loved the Nomad Lounge, though we didn't have food there.

We went for the first time on our January trip and LOVED it. The food and service was amazing. The wine list is also very good. Tiffins was our favorite restaurant on that trip and has become a staple for all future trips. We have reservations again for our April trip. I highly recommend it.

Also if you get there early, like we did, it was so relaxing and nice to sit at the Nomad Lounge and have a glass of champagne (or whatever) and look out at the scenery there.

Our family also LOVED IT! Best Meal of our whole trip. I had the Fish and my DS and DH had the Wagyu Beef. I will definitely be getting Tiffin's ROL package on our upcoming trip.

Awesome thanks! That's what i was looking at was the grouper. I'm not a huge fan of buffets so this appeals to me more than Tiffins! ;)
