I like the look of the menu for both and have an ADR for both but can't decide which to keep. We will be on the Deluxe Dining plan for this particular day so price either way is equal. For those that have been recently, which one do you think has the better meal? Also with the recent menu change thread I'm unsure if both menus posted online are even accurate.

We will also be going to California Grill for Brunch this trip so the view doesn't sway me for this instance.

edit to also note that we will be going in 2 weeks.

For food and atmosphere (even without the evening view), I prefer Cali Grill. Tiffins is good, but it still feels like a park restaurant to me.

I think the food is better at Tiffins but you're still dining in a theme park. The setting, amd ambiance at Cali Grill is one of my favorites. I hear people talk about how loud it is and I won't argue against it but I honestly have never noticed while Im there. Its always after the fact when I think....hmm, "i meant to try and notice how loud it was"

I had Tiffins for the first time on May 3...honestly one of the best overall meals I've ever had on Disney property. I disagree that it feels like a theme park dining experience. The restaurant exists in its own little area (until Pandora opens to the public of course) and the ambiance was lovely. It's a beautiful restaurant.

Since you'll be at Cali Grill for another meal, my opinion is to try a Tiffins dinner :-)

Get River of Lights Dinner Package at Tiffins for 'free' FP+ to the show.....

Or, enjoy the fireworks from CA Grill.

I agree. Tiffins feels miles away from a theme park. We had one of our best Disney meals ever there in March. Top notch atmosphere, service and food and the decor is fantastic.

Thanks for the input everyone! I am leaning towards Tiffins since we will be doing the brunch at cali grill. I'm sure I will make a last minute final decision though!
