I am finally trying Tiffins this coming weekend, on my birthday! I am super excited. I have 2 menu questions.
1. Will they allow you to just get the turf in the surf and turf? I would love the wagyu beef, but I hate lobster. Has anyone done this? Would the portion of beef be too small to make this a worthy option?
2. The tamarind braised short rib sounds interesting, but I have no idea what tamarind tastes like. Not sure if I have ever had it. Any comparisons or descriptions on how it tastes?

. It's just basic short rib and a reason why Tiffins was a disappointment for me. Not a huge one, but enough for me to be like ehhhh, and possibly me not wanting to go back and spend the money to dine here. Dessert was good. Wine/Beer selection is good. Had an Argentinian wine I believe. But the apps and entrees are kinda bland and that's not a good sign.
