Hi - I just got back and wanted to give some info about Tiffany Towncar.

I was not happy with their service or attitudes. When we arrived from Michigan into MCO they weren't there waiting so I called to see where they were. The dispatcher had to call and direct him over to us. Sammi gave some excuse that he couldn't be parked by the baggage claim or anytime longer than 15 minutes yet we had been waiting for him for at least 25 minutes. He then took us to CBR where he asked at time to pick us up on the return trip. I had to tell him twice I needed to be picked up at 4 p.m. and I saw him write it down.

When the day arrived for our return - no Sammi at 4 p.m. so I called and they told me that they schedule a return 2 hours before the flight (my time was a necessary 3 hours for Spirit). The manager argued with me that I didn't state that on my email confirmation.

Very poor company to fight a client over an hour. And an hour that the client requested. So if you use Tiffany make sure you send in writing specific times & dates and double check.
 
Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. We have used them three times now, and they have always been excellent.

This last trip, we were met at MCO, taken to AKL and then given a card with our pick-up time highlighted, with the number to call for "day before" confirmation. The driver was at AKL 15 minutes early to pick us up on the day of departure.

I hope you had a great trip, despite the sour note you left on!
 
Thanks for caring. Yes, I did have a nice trip. The odd thing is I've been four times before and used Mears and had excellent results with Mears. I thought I would try Tiffany because everyone was raving about them. I guess I'll just go back to Mears. I'm glad you had good results with them. Maybe I just had an off driver.
 
Really? This is the first negative review I've read re: Tiffany. :( Thanks for the warning.

I've been reading some horrendous things about Mears lately though. I've used them in past years and they get worse with each passing year...wait times like you wouldn't believe. Cramming those vans like nobody's business and now I hear they're asking people to schedule their pick-ups up to four hours in advance of their flight? No thanks.:) I think I'd rather quibble with Tiffany.;)

We have used Tiffany 7 times, and have never had ANY kind of problems. We have had friends and my sister also used them with only the highest of service.

I wouldn't give up on them for one pick-up miscommunication.
 
We have used Mears for the last four trips to Disney. And let me say they were all horrible. The last trip we waited almost 45 minutes before we had a shuttle to our resort. It seemed everyone coming in after us was getting a shuttle. Finally we asked if they had us down for sure. They said yes and it would be only a few more minutes. Well we finally got a shuttle but we sat inside of it for another 20 minutes waiting for them to pack the shuttle with more people. Then they wanted to pick us up 4 hours early for our flight. The last two times they forgot to pick us up at our resort. So we ended up calling several times. Finally they sent a taxi one time and a shuttle another time.

This time we plan on using the Tiffany town car service. I hope we have better luck with them. I am not crazy about driving to numerous other resorts and wasting hours of our vacation time. Our time is precious to us. As vacations are never long enough.
 
Here's another negative on Tiffany.

Used them once, not sure if we'd do it again.

Our experience was very similar to Elysiannn's. Its not a pleasant experience to show up at the airport and your ride's not there.

It may have been the exception to normally good performance, but cmon, limo service isn't brain surgery. Just show up when you're supposed to, where you're supposed to.

Big thumbs down.......
 
we are never using tiffany's again. 1st two trips they were great, but in dec the driver insisted we hadn't booked a grocery stop when we had. she refused to stop:( i was not happy with their reply to my e-mail complaining on our return, and we will book with someone else this spring.

Well, I used Tiffany two different trips and on the first one, NO SHOW for the pick up on the return to airport (had to call... they got a driver over to the Contemporary in about 15 minutes after the call - yes, I confirmed the pick up time both by phone and with the first driver upon arrival...:rolleyes: )

Second trip, thought I'd try again. No driver waiting in baggage claim (LIKE THEY SAID) - had to call them, driver finally appeared after about 15 minutes or so.

Now I use Happy Limo and have for several trips . They have always been on time, drivers are polite and safe (We've delt with about 5 different ones over the years). Never a problem.

After 9/11 , Happy Limo reqested that some pick ups at the airport CALL them upon arrival (instead of having the driver waiting in baggage claim) I think this depended on which airline you came in on. They did this because the airport would not let them park close to the building and leave the car. They WOULD meet you in baggage claim IF you requested but then you would have to wait about 15 min. for them to go get the car and bring it back around. By calling upon arrival, the dispatch simply radios the car waiting and they pull up to get you (5 min. tops).So, this could explain the "not meeting you thing from Tiffany" BUT Tiffany should have explained that when you made your reservation like Happy Limo always does.

not hard to figure out here! TIFFANY!!!! I've used Tiffany for the past few trips now and they were great! I will use them again this year!:wave:
