Hi! We are just back from Orlando, and we used TTC to get us to and from the RPR.
We had a connecting flight on the trip down, and our initial flight was delayed so we missed our connection. Since I knew our connection was leaving on time, I called TTC to let them know we wouldn't be on that flight. No problem, they said. Just call them as soon as we knew what flight we were booked on. I did about 2 hours later, and they were able to pick us up on time and give us our grocery stop with no problem.
They did overcharge me, however. R/T rates to and from Universal resorts are $85. Our driver charged us $95. I asked if the rates went up, and our driver said yes. We didn't feel like arguing and paid it. When we got to the RPR Club lounge, I looked up the rates and confirmed we overpaid. I shot Maritza @ TTC an e-mail and explained. She confirmed the rate was $85 and asked how we paid. I wrote her back to let her know we paid in cash, but saved our receipt and would be happy to show our return driver.
She didn't write back in time for our return trip. So, I asked our pick up driver if he knew anything about our problem. He didn't and tried to say the rate was $95. Finally, he asked if we'd like him to call. We said sure, and Maritza authorized him to give us our $10 back.
So, all in all, great service. But, my recommendation is that you have TTC provide you with the rate when you get your reservation. Then print your reservation and take it with you so you don't have to go through the hassle.
