HI~

I have checked the rates and they cost the same for both Tiffany and Prestige with coupons. Any recommendations which is better?

Thanks

We prefer Prestige. We've tried both and we just didn't care for Tiffany. The drivers were fine but not very helpful so we didn't get a vacation kind of feeling. We tried Prestige over Easter and Dennis was great. Our ride was very enjoyable--much more of a vacation feeling.

A coworker had a good experience with Tiffany - no problems. We both used Murray Hill this year (separate trips), and also had good experiences with their service. I don't know anyone who has used Prestige - sorry!
Hope you have great service with whichever company you choose! Nothing is worse than starting out your vacation badly at the airport due to transportation problems! Been there, done that!
Happy Traveling!!! :flower:

We've used Tiffany three times without any problems. Once our driver was very quiet and that was kind of awkward. Other than that it was fine.

I am on the fence since the word is that Tiffany has been bought by some other company.

Am looking forward to more posts!

We also have used Tiffany 3 times and loved them! I doubt that we will use ME this July--I just don't want to waste my time being on everyone else's schedule!

I am concerned that Tiffany has changed hands. Anyone use them lately??
Thanks!

We used Prestige last week and they were fantastic! Picked us up at the aiport baggage claim area, took us to Albertson's for a grocery stop. For the return trip they were right on time. Car was clean, comfortable and the conversation was great with Ray. I plan on using them next time also.

We used Prestige in January and was very pleased with them. I understand they are also under new ownership though.

I asked our driver about the new ownership and he just said "yes we are", but didn't comment on who bought them. Doesn't matter to us, we got there safe and sound and in comfort---and that's what we were looking for. We were not disappointed in the least.

Used Tiffany in March-won't use them again until they work the kinks out (sounds like they are trying). Both Tiffany and Prestige are owned by the same person. We used Tiffany but the reimbursement check came from Prestige.

Just wanted to throw this out there....in March, we used a company called Magic Transportation.

www.magictransportation.com

They were recommended on this board, and I can't say enough good things about them. It was $80 Round trip from MCO to All Star Sports, and included tolls, tax, 2 child car seats, a grocery run and they gave us a stroller to use during our stay.

They were waiting for us when we arrived, with our last name on a sign. The airline lost one piece of our luggage so we were at the airport longer than expected, and our driver was nicer than can be.

When we finally got to the van, he had a giant Mickey Mouse doll in one of the child seats. Talk about starting the magic right away!! My kids were soooo excited! He then gave my daughter a Disney autograph book and a pen, and he gave each of the kids one of those glow in the dark ice cubes.

We also used them for a trip to and from Sea World, and each time they were punctual and courteous. It was the same driver each time.

I would absolutely use them again!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :flower:

We also used www.magictransportation.com and had an excellent experience with them as well. We took longer on the store stop and they had no problem with that. The children also loved the autograph books. It was a wonderful start to our Disney vacation. They were on time both ways. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND them and will be using them again on our next Disney vacation.

We`ve heard from friends that Prestige were a safe bet to reserve with.Otherwise why not consider Fla. Tours. Also heard good comments about them too. :wave2:

Just used Tiffany last week. We request the van and Berkley Edwards our favorite driver, prompt and efficient. Even had a soda stop at the hess mini mart. During the week we also had a trip to universal using tiffany, one of their companys. This driver was also prompt, efficient and friendly. Told us about his dd in rhode island. We love Tiffany. Great as usual.

We used Prestige last month. We booked a towncar but ended up with a van both ways. I was disappointed but they were on time and got us to the resort and back. The driver spent most of the trip to our resort on his cell phone. He didn't have any identification on so I wondered if he was an employee or if he was hired out from the company. We also spent our early morning trip to the airport in silence. I just didn't feel comfortable with the experience. I do have to give them credit from getting us there and back efficiently. Probably wouldn't book with them again though.

Wow, that's shocking to me. Everybody's different I guess with different personalities, but Ray talked to us the whole entire time. Never used the phone once, in fact I didn't even see a phone although I'm sure he had one.

We had a towncar both ways, although an older one. But it was clean, air conditioned and the seats were so comfortable. He provided us with a booster seat for our son and was very polite in opening doors and carrying luggage.

I would definitely use them again and especially now that I hear all of the nonsense about ME. It's not worth the FREE ride to me, I'd rather have comfort, a grocery stop and someone being on time-directly to my hotel and back to the airport.

If you are unhappy, why not let them know? They aren't going to know otherwise. :)

I agree, ribbot! If people have a bad experience and don't inform the company of it, they can't give a true picture of the quality of service available. Drivers are indeed different, and some make mistakes that the company would not approve of. I had a very small misunderstanding with Murray Hill and informed them of it. They apologized with sincerity and offered a discount. To me, this shows that it isn't always the company that is "bad", but sometimes just one driver. You wouldn't say a Disney resort is "bad" because of one negative experience with a CM that works there! I'll definitely use MH again! Magic Transportation also seems like a safe bet with those great recommendations! Good luck! :flower:

To Tiffany's credit, they did pay for our taxi when they couldn't find a car to pick us up from our resort to MCO-that's the only comp. we got.

Sounds like things are improving though-could have been we were one of the first customers after the ownership change and the kinks hadn't been worked out yet.

Thanks to everyone for their responses. I am still debating between ME and the towncar , but if I go with a towncar service I think I will try Tiffany.

We thought we read somewhere on the boards that Tiffany and Prestige were the same company. Is that correct? :sunny:

You are correct-plus the same owner owns two others but I can't seem to find out which two. Anyone know?
