what is the difference if you get the tickets with your package or if you buy them prior to your visit in the disney store?? does it matter at all?

Sometimes you need to buy a package to get a certain discount.

There is an advanced ticket purchase price and gate price through Disney.

In the past if we are doing a "room only" and not a "package" then I've purchased tickets through ticketmania.com

Also, keep in mind that you must purchase admission with your package, if you want the Disney Dining Plan. (Except for folks staying at DVC resorts on DVC points.)
