Tickets With Package Question

Hi, We have booked a package 10/9-10/17 (hotel, dining, tickets). We are getting there on the 8th and spending the night at another Disney hotel. Our tickets are 7 day with Water Park and More. Our plan is to use one of the "And More" to do Disney Quest on the 8th. Is this possible or will our tickets not be active until we check into our package hotel on the 9th?

You will have to go to guest relations to activate the tickets prior to your arrival, this can be done at dtd, a theme park or waterpark but NOT at your hotel. You can activate tickets up to 3 days prior to your package check in date.
