Tickets through USSSA

The discount has not changed from the 12/31/14 date for a long time. Does anyone know when the site usually lists new dates? Hoping that they offer May tickets.

I emailed them yesterday, just to ask whether and when they expect to get tickets in for 2015. (I figured nothing to lose, right? Technically it just says not to email them to ask when it says "unavailable.") I got a response today to check back in early February because they should have spring tickets out then.

Just checked the website and tickets are now available with expiry dates of 6/30/15. Looks like they also added a new ticket option - 1 day park to park for $100.

Thanks threekids! The only thing is that every time I try to order tickets, the site says temporarily unavailable...I even tried ordering the other ticket choices and got the same reply. Is that happening to everyone?

Yes, this happened to me as well. Also it says the tickets are only for USSSA participants and their families, does anyone know what this is about? Thanks!

You have to become a member before you can purchase any tickets. I am a member and purchased tickets last year but when now when I try, the site says the tickets are temporarily unavailable.

I believe technically you are only supposed to buy those tickets if you are participating in a sports event with that organization in Orlando. They have similar tickets for WDW but you have to list the event and team. WDW is much more strict with their youth ticket sales. I once organized a WDW YES program trip with a homeschool enrichment group and had to provide lots of documentation of the group's existence and that the people going on the trip were in the group.

I have a feeling the USSSA may be cracking down on people purchasing tickets who are not also attending events. If you look at the Disney ticket pages on the website they now require you to add the team, player and event that you will be attending in order for you to purchase tickets. It would surprise me if they add the same stipulations to the Universal tickets. Shame as I loved getting tickets there a couple years ago!

I hope that they are just getting the site ready for purchases. They kept the Universal tickets site at expiring 12/31/14 well past that date (nearly three weeks) so maybe it takes them awhile to get things going. They are not asking for any date or team information when I try to purchase tickets...just that they are temporarily unavailable. One can only hope...right?

So, am I understanding this correctly? I join USSSA and create an account. Then I order discounted tickets-I am interested in 1 day P to P. The tickets come in the mail and I can just go to the gate and use them. Can I order the express pass online at the universal sight without a ticket from them and use the 2 together? It just seems too good to be true.

I don't believe you need to join.

Regular express is not connected to your ticket. Just go in the park and purchase it one of the stores where it is indicated they sell it.

Just remember that the usssa ticket is not upgradeable and can't be changed in any way. It also must be used by the date indicated on the ticket.

When I last bought tickets USSSA did require you to setup an account with them in order to purchase tickets (you cannot purchase as a guest) but registration was free.

if i buy the one day park to park tickets so we can see all of HP, is there anything I am leaving out. Is there a need for any upgrade?

One day park to park will get you into both parks, including the train between them. I have never gotten the express passes because we usually go when it's not too busy but some people do purchase these if they find the parks crowded. This May we are staying on site for one night (first time ever yay!) so we will have early entry and front of the line passes for two days.

On the Universal site, you can currently buy a 2-day park-to-park and get a 3rd day free. Would the 2-day park-to-park on the USSSA site get you in a 3rd day for free? Going in February.

No

For those that have bought tickets through this site, what was the turnaround time for actually having the tickets in hand?

I ordered last night for our trip on 2/19, completely forgetting the fact that we're actually leaving for FL on 2/10. Any chance they'll actually make it to me before then? I'm starting to panic now :scared:

It took under a week to get mine delivered and that is with the snowstorms we just experienced...I live in New England. I think that you should get them well before you leave for your trip:) I wouldn't stress at all.
