This is probably a really silly question and I think I probably know the answer however - is there such a thing as a half day pass for Disneyland?

We arrive in Disneyland the day after Fantasmic stops for the summer season:sad1:. However we will be staying in Beverly Hills before arriving in Anaheim for our Disney leg of our honeymoon, so my fiance and I were thinking about going to Disneyland on the Sunday night just to see Fantasmic, but to pay a whole days admission seems a bit excessive, especially when we'll be arriving the next day with a 3 day pass for our 3 night stay.

I'm kind of doubtfull, but hey you never know eh?? Any thoughts?

Thanks
Laura

I'm not too sure if there is a half-day rate. If there is one, it'll probably be through a convention. Have you thought about upgrading your 3 day hopper to a 4 day hopper? I think you'll be paying about $20 more for the 4th day.

Ahh that might be an idea! Although we were thinking about getting the Southern California City pass and it is only a 3 day park hopper that is included.

However that is a really good suggestion so we may have to rethink our ticket purchases!

Thanks!

I know people have been successful upgrading the 3day parkhopper from the southern california city pass to an Annual Pass. I'm guessing you should be able to upgrade the 3day parkhopper to a 4 day parkhopper. Try emailing disney and asking them if that's do-able since they sell the city pass as well and should be familiar with it.

I just spoke w/ Disney Vacations about upgrading a 5 day to a 6 day. It came out to be about $10 more for the extra day.
I'd pay $10 for a two hour visit.

Just to walk down Main St., watch the characters, watch the kids watching the characters, ride the Jungle Ride, share a late night dole whip float.

Two hours & $10 well spent. :thumbsup2

I was going to suggest upgrading to a 4 day pass as well. It really won't be much more $$ and it will be worth it to see F! It is such a great show! Have fun!!

Just so you know what the gate prices are, here is a pic I took last week.
It seems to be really worth it to buy parkhoppers in advance!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

Oh that would be great if we could update the city pass. I'll try emailing Disney to ask them I think. We are planning on hitting Universal Studios first as we're in Beverly Hills first then Anaheim - do you think we'll be able to buy the city pass on the internet use it for universal and then say turn up at Disney on the Sunday and ask to upgrade that part of it to a 4 day pass? Or would we have to do it before hand? If so when and where?

That seems a bit complicated doesn't it!?! Is it just me or am I being really thick and making things more complicated than they are??:confused3

Oh goodness, I get married next week, so I think I've got too much on my mind! :rotfl:
