We are not regular visitors to Universal, we have only been for one day and that was 6 years ago. But now my niece is a huge HP fan and on our next WDW trip I thought we could go for a couple of days. I just looked at the ticket prices and I might be missing something.

When I look at a 2D/2P park to park it says the price is $278. The promo of buy a 2D/2P and get 3 extra days is $303. The 1park per day is $219 or for the promo the price is $244.
Now, I know you are getting an extra 3 days but it is not for the price of 2 - I must be missing something right?

You said you would like to do a couple of days at the Darkside

just buy the two day park ticket
The 2+ free days tickets cost more overall based on what you listed

park to park tickets lets you move from one park to the other on the same day

One set is two days admission but one park per day.

I was just wondering if I was missing something since the promo price is more than the regular price.

When you buy just the regular 2 day P2P ticket you have to select your dates and depending on the dates the price is different depending on how busy it might be (like Disney tickets). So the dates you might be selecting may have a price of $278 for the days you will be there. But other dates are as high as $368.99 (like during Christmas)

The promo tickets of buy 2 get 3 free are not not date based, so you could buy these and go during Christmas and they're still $303.99.

Thanks! I knew there was something I was missing. Forgot that timed tickets is not just a Disney thing now :(
