Tickets/ Park hopper passes

Hello,
i bit the bullet last night and secured a room for my family Club level AKL for Sept 2009. I paid a $516.00 deposit to secure the room until package pricing comes out. Can i pre-buy tickets at 2008 prices to beat any increase for 2009 now, and still convert to a package when pricing comes out? I'd still be adding the DDP to our room ressie, so is that a package?

You will have to buy at least one day park tickets for everyone in your party in order for it to be considered a package and for you to get the dining plan. I would think if ticket prices go up it will not be enough to warrant having to buy a one day ticket. If you want to go ahead and get tickets though you could save that one day and upgrade it the next time you buy tickets.

You can buy tickets now but they will not be considered part of your package. You would still need to purchase tickets for your 2009 package.

a one day ticket will at this years prices cost you $67+ tax so i think around $71. i dont know how long you are staying but lets say 7 days. so if you bought the 6 day ticket non hopper at this years prices it would be about $217 with tax.
so if we assume the the prices stay reletively the same comparison you would end up paying $288 to do it that way. but had you just waited and bought them together it would have been about $219 for the 7 day ticket.
even with the price increase you wont save any money. because the 1 day ticket will also go up.
i really think you are alwyas better off waiting.
