Tickets - paper or plastic?

I was thinking I might just order our tickets online for our next trip as I have seen some great deals, including this web site. I read on another thread that some of these places send you paper tickets and not the nice plastic ones. Is that true? I am talking a 4 or 5 day hopper pass.

My park hoppers have been paper and our last stay we did the UPH (also LOS pass) and it was plastic because you use your room key also as your park ticket.

The ones we just used, I ordered them off of the Disney Website. They were 4 day PH and they were the plastic ones. I was Mickey and DH was Goofy. Now I've got them to put in my scrapbook.

When we went a year ago I bought the passes at the resort and they were plastic. So if I get them online from someone besides Disney will they be paper? I really don't want paper ones. If I did get paper could I exchange them at the resort for paper, say if I wanted my key and pass together?

They will probably be paper. The resort ones were probably part of your room key/pass combination, right?

The paper is not at all flimsy, it holds up quite well. Even our annuals are paper.

No, they will not incorporate your pass onto your key, they used to, but stopped doing it.

I believe only tickets bought through Disney are plastic. Either at WDW, Disney Store or Disney's website..

I have always gotten my 5-day hopper passes at the Disney Store & they are plastic credit card type.

They do make great additions to the scrapbook.
