Tickets on Room key?

Does anyone know if park tickets are mailed to you can they be "added" to your room key upon check in? My DH says that if we order now , they will be mailed now and will not be "on the room key". Thanks.
Also, DH has a REAL problem with the scan thing...is it done everytime you enter a park or just the initial entry?

You can have your passes placed on your room keys at or after check-in. They may ask you to go to the resort guest services desk. Finger scans are done every time you enter a park.

I thought the finger scan would be a big problem but actually it went pretty fast. The biggest problem is getting through the lines to have your bags checked. Not really a problem, it just can be slow sometimes. I'm not complaining. Anything they have to do to keep us safe is alright with me.

we just got back-we had already booked through AAA and ordered our tix and when we checked in, we were told that our room key is our ticket and could also be used for purchases in the park as long as it's signed.
I agree...the finger scan thing wasn't a big deal at all...what went a bit slower was the bag check---just make sure the bag is open and ready---they really just glanced in ours and said "baby items...you're ok"....i didn't see anyone having their bag emptied out but that may have happened elsewhere....

here's a slightly different story: we just got back from WL, and got in late enough that we had to wait until the next morning to get our tickets. the room keys were all with our names on them and had charging capabilities (even though we didn't use that). the woman checking us in said they could put our tickets on our keys (as has always been done). next morning, the person we got the tickets from (the concierge desk? i'm having a memory lapse, so forgive me) said we had to get separate cards for the tickets. that was strange.

as others said, scans are done every time you enter the park. i didn't have a problem, and neither did my dad, but one time my mom had a problem with it. but she tried again and it worked fine. no more handstamps when i was there either.
