Bought 3 no expiry tickets 4 years ago for us and Grandma - now going again with different Grandma - can she use the unused days or do we need to buy a new ticket?

Depends if they took her fingerprint or signed the tickets.
If its before all latest technology was brought in then they can be used by different people. Can't remember how long since they started.

I remember buying my first non expiry ticket in 1995 it had a black and white photograph of me printed on the ticket so even then there was a certain amount of security on them.

Sorry don't remember them. We have had Universal tickets with photos on but never Disney.
Part used tickets were freely sold on Ebay upto latest changes, not so much now as they are getting more rare but they are still sold http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/3-Day-Adult-p...3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66:2|65:1|39:1|240:1318

My guess is around 3 years ago technology stopped tickets being transferable but I could be totally out, any used before will have no problems being used with other people.

We did a little test when we were there in 2003 - we all swopped round tickets to see if we could still get in - the turnstyle correctly noted that the fingerprint did not match but the gate staff overrode this and let us in.......think we will risk it as Grandma is saying that she will just not come in rather than pay the ticket price.

Thats what I would do. They have so many problems with the fingerprint system anyways. DMIL had to have hers accepted by staff everytime at Xmas. It would not accept her finger.
I would say it worked 4 years ago, why not now?
Grandmas get away with it. When we went thru Immigration Xmas day, us 3 had to do fingerprints and eye cam but not DMIL, just told her to keep an eye on us 3 and make sure we behave ourselves.

I tested out the system last October- I swapped tickets with dh and got in no probs, i have also used different fingers as well and still got in also have done this at seaworld with no probs. I only did this to see if their system works...
