I'm heading to DL in just over 2 weeks. I was going to order tickets, but I have several gift cards and apparently you can only use one online. They can't send me e-tickets if I do it over the phone. I was advised to just bring the gift cards and buy when I get there. Is there any disadvantage to doing that? I know I'd save the shipping fee, but I am wondering about timing and such. I wanted to be in line early because I know it will be busy. I am so used to WDW where all this is handled ahead of time (and no shipping fees!).

How many gift cards? They do have to print a receipt for each card like it's its own transaction. But 10 minutes in line plus a 5-10 minute transaction would still be preferable to paying for shipping and chancing lost mail to many people.

Do you have a Disney store close by? I took 22 50.00 dollar gift cards and bought all our park hoppers LOL The cast member checking me out was super excited for me.

It's three gift cards of varying amounts, plus I'll have to pay the remainder on my own CC.

Wow, I did not know you could buy park tickets at a Disney Store. We do have one. Maybe I should check out that option.

I have seen posts from others that have opened a Disney Vacation Account to consolidate the cards and then use one payment type. I have not done it and am not sure of the timing, but wanted to bring it up in case that is an option.

We did this two years running--showed up with, er, several Disney Gift Cards at the ticket booth to purchase our APs. It's not a problem at all. They just run each card to verify its value and give you a receipt, but with three gift cards at most it might take 10 minutes.

Please don't have them mail the tickets to you. I did that the first time we went and if I hadn't done it way in advance, I'd have been in trouble as it took AGES.

Well I did try my local Disney Store, but they only sell WDW tickets (despite the poster saying otherwise behind the registers. They said it was very old, haha!). I am just going to buy when I get there. Thanks everyone.
