So, I'm online right now, about to purchase tickets. It really doesn't say anything about magic bands...Do I just purchase the tickets now and worry about magic bands later? I'm not quite ready to hit that final button because I don't want to make a mistake.

You'll have to sign on the the disney app and order your magic bands through there

Magic bands are connected to your resort stay, not your ticket purchase.

You will only get MBs if you stay on site. Otherwise you will have to purchase them.

Can you pre-purchase magic bands if you are staying off-site or do you have to wait until you get to Disney World to get them

At this point you have to wait till you get there. That might change at some point though with all these new theme ones coming out.

They sell them in multiple off locations now. I know that OIA has them and can't remember the other places that has them. I know that you can't mail order them and have them shipped to home though.

I'm struggling with this acronym...Orlando International Airport maybe? Most here call it MCO if "initializing".

It's called MCO because it's the old airport code before it was called Orlando International Airport, it was McCoy Field (hence the MCO) part of a McCoy Airforce base (don't remember but it could have even been Army Aircorp), when the base closed or was reduced, it became something like McCoy Orlando Jetport. Same airport they just changed the name a few times.

OIA by the way is the airport code for some airport in south america.
