Tickets from Velocity

Hi all

Starting to plan out our trip this coming September...so excited!!

I will have many questions I'm sure for all you vets, but wanted to start with asking about discounted tickets. I have been doing a lot of browsing to find a good rate on tickets and seems the cheapest I have found, and by a lot, is Velocity tours. $253 for a 5 day hopper! Anyone used them before, I can't seem to find any reviews

Have not heard of them, but found some reviews online that looked positive. I was brave and ordered tickets. Their prices are great. I saved $165

When is your trip? Would love to know what you think of them. I can save about $100 over even a corporate discount if we order from Velocity, but I'm a bit nervous!

I bought from them too. They had great reviews. I got my tickets emailed to me 3/4 days after I bought them. We don't go till the end of June but I'm not concerned. I can always file with my credit card company if they don't work. The tickets look like other ones I have bought before. I think they are going to work great! I saved a ton getting the 5 day passes for 4 of us.

I ordered mine yesterday afternoon, and received my etickets this morning. We are also going late June.

I'm going later this month and plan on purchasing through these guys as the savings are quite good.

In one of those "too good to be true" cases, I called my credit card company to see if there are issues with this particular company. They have had no issues from their records.

Furthermore, my credit card company confirmed that *IF* the tickets end up being fraudulent, then I can always call them and it will get sorted out.

Having said all of that, I really have no concerns over it being fraudulent etc. It's likely a very reputable company who would rather make $50 on 10 people than $100 on 5 people.

I'll update this thread after my trip.

Just to quickly update:

I purchased tickets over the phone as I live in Canada. I called on Thursday, transaction went thru the same day; received E-Tickets on Monday.

Tickets look legit and I have no worries!

We've got tickets in hand from Velocity as well (thanks to all for the advice/info in this thread - saved us some $'s!) - and I'm curious for anyone who's used the types of vouchers pictured above...

Will I be able to take 4 vouchers over to the entrance plaza the night before our first park day, and get our 4 tickets on my own (leaving the family to relax at the pool/hotel)? Or do we all need to actually be there to exchange those paper tickets/vouchers for our "real" tickets that we'll use for the week?

I just got back from a weekend at DL using tickets from Velocity. They were great to deal with and I had no problem with any of the transaction, including usage of the tickets. I don't know all the logistics behind trading in the passes as we did it at the gates, but it was no problem, with no delays. It worked great, and whenever we go back, I will give Velocity the first shot.

thats great to hear! course I didn't order mine yet and now the site has been down since price increases were announced. just waiting to see if the costs goes up, hopefully not too much

they were supposed to be available again today but looks like it didn't happen. I still have 2 weeks to be patient I guess!

They were down when I ordered mine too, so I called and they handled it all over the phone. I even got the old prices even though the prices had gone up. They take orders for Disney tickets from 8-12 Mountain time.

Just remember that you have to order the tickets at least 72 hours prior to using them. Just call. That's what I did. No issues.

If you can't get the Velocity tickets then Way.com has the lowest price I found for 2, 3 & 5 day park hopper tickets. Ebates/Orbitz has the best price for a 4 day park hopper when you purchase the 3 day park hopper and get the 4th day free.
