Hey, Dis gang... We purchased our ticket media via Undercover Tourist for our trip "home" next year. Does anyone know how the Magic Band and FP+ process would incorporate these? I'm concerned we won't be able to request magic bands or choose our FP+ until we arrive which will reduce our fast pass availability.

It should be easy. Just log onto MDE when you receive your tickets and link them to your reservations.

I used my iPhone to scan my tix from UT and had no problem uploading them onto MDE. Magic bands in hand now, FP made - leaving in 20 days!

I have a My Disney Experience account set up and linked my UT tickets to it so when Magic Bands are available for my upcoming trip I should be ready to get the FP. (Boy I was slow; two people posted while I was typing!)

Thanks, gang. I think this may change the way we tour. Lots of new changes for a Dis guy to learn now.

Brattosa,
It's easy, If you haven't set up an account with MyDisneyExperience please do so and then all you need to do is link your reservations together.

We emailed the Mouse about how to handle our "no expiration" tickets. Response was to link to the bands, but be sure and save the paper tickets (battery in Magic Bands lasts 2 or three years and we'll have days left from this trip). Also said to bring the paper tickets with us in case there's a glitch.

If you link an UCT ticket to MDE, will you be able to then enter the park and later upgrade to an Annual Pass or 10-day ticket at the Disney "bridge" pricing -- which is a better rate? (like in the past, we could enter the parks on UCT tickets first and then upgrade to an Annual Pass and Disney would bridge the pricing, giving us credit for their current ticket prices)

Yes.

Thanks for that quick reply...that is what I was hoping to hear!
