Tickets from third parties?

My husband has a perks website through his work that is offering discount WDW tickets. We have a room only reservation currently. I'm just wondering if anyone has had postive or negative experience with linking outside purchased tickets to their magic bands and/or booking fast passes.

Thanks!

Caution: Some not-so-public ticket dealers and websites and timeshare sales offices sell/give promotional or non-standard or older vintage Disney tickets that cannot have additional days added. This can be a severe problem since, say, a 3 day discount ticket and a 4 day discount ticket (for a 7 day vacation) might well together cost a lot more than one regular priced 7 day peak season or flexible date ticket. Some other dealers may sell semi-stale tickets with only a short time before they expire.

I have been able to link magnetic stripe Magic Your Way tickets (standard tickets of the kind immediately preceding the current standard tickets) and book fastpasses okay.

It would be helpful if you name the website, but I'm going to assume that it's tickets at work. If it is, yes, you'll be able to link the tickets, but you aren't necessarily getting the best deal. Other authorized ticket sellers are often cheaper.

Yep.

It also pays to do a little home work when buying tickets for Disney and just because one type of ticket is cheaper from a re-seller does not mean all types of tickets are cheaper.

A couple trips ago I priced out AAA, Disney, Working Advantage, and possibly UT. For a non hopper ticket Disney was the lowest price if I used Disney GC's I purchased at Target using the Red Card. However if I had wanted hopper tickets AAA had the lowest price. Last trip UT had the lowest priced tickets for hoppers. When it came to DL last summer I used LMT as they had the best prices.

I have a program at work through abenity and I had a not so fun time with a hotel room I paid for through them.

is costco a reseller or considered to be? I booled my trip in April through them and save a bunch over the Disney quote.
so will be pricing next year's with Costco, dreams unlimited and Disney itself.

check my trip report to see my good, bad and ugly of my trip.
