I was wondering what anyone who has purchased their tickets through ACV has done for FP+? Since you can't link your tickets to MDE.

I'm admittedly not familiar with the procedure for tickets only, but I know usually if you book a room with ACV, the reservation number they give you can be used to link on MDE. I also know it may take 48-72 hrs before it validates. Have you tried with that number?

Otherwise, I'm sure you can give them a call and see if they have an external reference number from Disney that could be used.

We bought tickets through ACV for our trip in August. When I was talking to the person on the phone to buy them, I asked repeatedly if we would get the ticket numbers so we could make fast passes (I don't think she had a clue what I was talking about, even though I spelled out the process several times), and she assured me they came with individual numbers each on their own voucher.

When the email arrived containing the vouchers, they were not the ticket numbers, but rather some kind of order number. I was on the phone to call ACV again and insist they refund me as I repeatedly told the salesperson that I wasn't interested if they couldn't provide the ticket numbers. While I was on hold with ACV, I decided to find out if Disney could help me, so I live chatted and found out it was possible! I quickly hung up with ACV and called Disney and within minutes my tickets were linked to MDE  When we get to DisneyWorld, we will still need to collect our physical tickets (actually the kids are already linked to their magic bands), but we can make fast passes! :jumping1:

I decided with our sinking dollar to buy early, the agent wanted to put our trip dates, but again didn't understand the need for the numbers early to make fast passes (they send out the vouchers 30 days before your trip), so I had her put a much earlier date for our trip and agreed that I would deal with the consequences of buying non-refundable tickets (from the moment of purchase) if our plans changed.

When I was speaking to Disney, they said it would depend on how ACV had processed the ticket and issued the voucher as to whether or not they could be linked, but it worked for us (and saved us a bunch of dough!) :flower1:

Thank you for the reply. That kind of sounds like it was a hassle, but in the end I suppose if all I have to do to save that much money is call Disney to have the tickets added then it's worth it. I will make sure to put our trip dates as occurring soon so that I have them before my fastpass date. That is a valuable tip.

Did you order the tickets only? And what info did you give? I just called Disney and she had no idea what I was talking about (i don't think she knew tbh). She told me I have to call air Canada but I doubt they will be helpful. We haven't gotten the vouchers yet only the original confirmation.

Yes, we bought only tickets from ACV. I called after we had received the Disney ticket order confirmation from ACV. This was sent out 30 days before the "trip dates", chosen early so if there was a problem with the tickets I would have time to sort it out. This email contained a voucher that said several times on it that you needed to visit Will Call to get your tickets when you arrive at WDW. When I spoke to Disney there seemed to be no problem or hesitation, she just asked me for the confirmation number off that voucher and was able to see and link the tickets immediately. She did mention it depended how they processed them, but I would imagine ACV would handle all the ticket purchases the same, maybe the difference is from company to company :confused3 . ACV told me they only buy the tickets just before they issue them to you (30 days before your travel date), so the number on the voucher connected to Disney will be different then anything you have now.

Hope this helps :goodvibes

This was the first time I purchase tickets from ACV (since we have always purchased DVC APs in the past), but I was very nervous about it and panicked when the confirmation said that they would send the vouchers 30 Days prior. This, of course, was not good if you wanted to book your fastpasses at 60 days. I didn't call them and just waited. When I received the voucher email, there was only one number. So I called and inquired about how I can link it to my MDE since they reassured me that I would be able to do it. She said that the confirmation number is for all the tickets I purchased. I was a bit skeptical, but I went online and it was quite easy. Once I entered the number, the system asked me to match it with each person and that was it. Then I was able to choose the fastpasses. Although I was concerned that the best times were gone, there was no issue choosing the times...there were lots available.

This is the same process that people who order from Undercover Tourist and other resellers have to go through. It's not exclusive to just Air Canada. Once you have the voucher number, call and Disney can give you a number to add tickets to your account. And I don't expect Central Reservations to have much info about it, so I would press whatever button it is for questions about tickets.

I just entered my numbers off the tickets I got from UT .... no phone calls .... just make sure you order tickets and not vouchers

I've never had any issues with undercover tourist cause they always mail me the physical tickets. I'm at the 60 day mark for our trip right now so we haven't gotten the actual vouchers yet since it's not 30 days prior. I called ACV and she told me she would call me back in a couple of days with the number and seemed to know what I was talking about...that was Tuesday
