I wanted to take a break for a day from WDW etc. in October and attend a game. Single game tickets are so hard to buy as the vast majority of the stadium is sold out to season ticket holders, some 67,000 seats. The team's ticket office told me I could buy on Ticketmaster, but for whatever reason (perhaps to stop touts as much as possible) they will only sell to holders of a credit card with a Florida State registered address.

So, has anybody got any ideas of where I could buy a ticket safely? I am a little concerned at using eBay and anyway the price would be silly.

Hope somebody has some experience of this.

Thanks.

Its like trying to get rocking horse doo doos. :)

The only way we have been able to get tix is to turn up at the stadium and hope that a season ticket holder cannot make the game and has put their tickets in for resale. Though don't be surprised if they go quickly. Get to the stadium as soon as it opens. If you don't get in, you will at least get a feel of the atmosphere and go to a local bar and watch with other Bucs fans who cannot get in

If you cant get to the American Fooball, try going to see the Tampa Bay Devil Rays basball. We were there last month to see them against the New York Yankees. There were five of us and it cost $99 for 3 hours of great entertainment.
There was plenty for the kids to do before the game started and it is only about 20 minutes on past Tampa along I275.

Kelly,

That is something that I had considered, but we are set to be in Florida when the World Series is just about to begin. With Tampa currently bottom of their division I have a feeling their season is all but over already.

Last time I saw a MLB game was in the late seventies when I was fortunate to see a match in the Houston Astrodome. What a contrast to the dreadful facilities available at English football grounds at that time. Sadly the Dome, once seen as the ninth wonder of the world(!) is hardly used these days and has fallen into a state of disrepair.

My main reason for this post is to thank Night-train for the link. I decided to telephone them and have been able to buy a ticket for the visit of the Philadelphia Eagles to Tampa on October 22. Probably paid twice face value, but as long as the ticket arrives safely I'm in! Up in the gods on the third section, but on the 50 yard line which is great. Thanks again.

No problem mate! Always glad to help a fellow football fan! :thumbsup2

Go Dolphins!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Night-train,

Thought I'd tell you that the Buccs ticket arrived just now (from Round Rock Texas via Fedex), seven days after ordering from the web site you mentioned.

What a service! Thanks again for the link.

Now I must concentrate on a WDW holiday, and try to put this game to the back of my mind as just a little fill-in, but somehow........
