They used to sell a non-expiring ticket, but those were discontinued a few years back.
The ticket itself now comes with an expiration date. That means you have to use it by that date to get the full value. After the expiration date, you would have to pay any increases in pricing since you bought it. Regardless, as others have said, all days expire completely 14 days after first use.
I didn't think about other kinds of tickets. Military is good for the entire year and CAN be used one day at a time, but there's no 180 day wording on those either.
You may wish to ask a better question. “Tickets” do not expire 180 days after first use. If asking about a ticket, you have to specify what you have. Florida resident 3-4 day do expire 180 after use. That’s an exception.
DVC had a special late last year - multiday tickets that expired 180 days after first use. Perhaps OP has one of those, which I assume could be used one day at a time.
