Hi, ABout 2 months ago I was looking on Disney's website about ticket prices. It showed ticket prices and had that if you bought like 3 days got 4th free or something like that.
I went to look again today and the whole website looks different. I read a snipit on tourins site that there are 2 Disney websites you can buy tickets on (an older website and the new one.) I'm assuming i was originally looking at the old website.

Does anyone know anything about this "older" website? Do you have an address/link for it? I keep ending up at this website- https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/tickets/

I want to buy the tickets right from Disney since I was told you can use Disney gift cards to pay for them. (My DD's school sells gift cards that give us credit off her tuition. We'd actually earn more off her tuition then the $5 we'd save from ticket resellers.)

Thanks!

That would not have been an official Disney website. Maybe it was one of the ticket discounters like Undercover Tourist? Disney doesn't do "buy 3 days get a 4th free" or any variation of that kind of deal for just tickets. You may see it once in a while for vacation packages.

AFAIK, there is no backdoor entrance to the older version of Disney's website for purchasing tickets. Even DVC members who enter thru the DVC website are redirected thru to the new ticketing webpage.

But it's neither here nor there when it comes to using GCs for payment. You cannot use multiple GCs to pay for tickets online. At checkout, you will be advised that "You may pay using up to one Disney Gift Card, one Disney Rewards® Redemption Card and one credit card. " If you have more than one GC, you can purchase by phone, in person at the gate or at a Disney Store.

I just came across undercovertourist site and they have the buy 4 days get 5th free, their price is $50 cheaper than disney site. Ok now its not worth it to buy the giftcards and go thru disney site. but I swear Disney was offering that as well?

Maybe I've just looked at so many sites and dont know remember what was what?

There is no such thing as a "free" day on any Disney ticket; it is all Marketing Hype!

Whether you are buying a four day ticket with three free days, a five day ticket with two free days, a six day ticket with one free day, or a seven day ticket, all you are buying is a seven day ticket.

Disney wholesales out their tickets to authorized resellers, who are allowed to set any price they want on them. Some may only buy tickets with certain numbers of days, so they advertise free days.

One thing to do is be aware of the actual Gate price of each ticket. If you go to Post #18-A of the locked sticky Everything About WDW Tickets (in the TPA&S forum) you can see the official chart. Note these prices do not include the 6.5% Sales Tax. Some of the locations include the tax in their displayed prices while others add it at the end. To get to the sticky click on the link in my signature.

Yep!
On undercover tourist the 4 day hopper and get 1 free is same price as the 5 day park hopper!!!
Although the 5 day hopper price on UT comes to $649.90
and the 5 day hopper on Disney site is $692.26
