Tickets before MYW Package Starts- FP+

We are booked with BB Free Dining August 16-23.

Originally I thought we would be flying in on the night of August 15 so I booked a r/o for that night.

Now plans have changed again and we will be arriving late afternoon/early evening on August 14.
Booked another r/0 night.

I know that you can go to guest services and have the tickets activated early but my question is - if we were to go to guest services at Disney Springs on the evening of August 14 and have the tickets linked to our r/0 reservations, would we be able to make Fastpass reservations that night for the next day (August 15) on MDE, or do we still have to wait until the day of to make them at the park?
