Here's my Tickets at Work story, it's still in process, so it probably won't help anyone, but I'd be interested to get feedback:
I originally booked CBR through Priceline for 11/30-12/6, we decided to add a 7th night a few days after booking. This gave me two different confirmation numbers, which linked my stay as 2 separate stays (meaning, I assume, that we would have to check out at 11AM, and then back in at 3PM on our last day). I reached out to Priceline to see if I could combine the confirmation numbers, but they could not. I reached out to the hotel and explained the situation, they said the best they could do would be to put a note on my reservation that we would like to keep the same room (booked the same type at the same resort, everything is identical), if I called back a week before my stay, but couldn't promise anything.
Since I am able to cancel through Priceline up until 2 or 3 days before check in for a full refund, I looked into booking the full week and cancelling this/these reservation/s. I happened upon TAW because I was already planning to get my park tickets through the site, so I figured I'd see if they offered hotels. They do have availability at CBR and the total cost for the 7 days was even $200 less than I booked through Priceline. So I booked it, and once it is all confirmed and set up on MDE, I'll cancel the Priceline bookings. TAW provided a confirmation number in the email, which I tried to use to link the reservation in MDE, but it has no record of my stay. I have reached out to TAW customer service to see if they can help me figure out how to link it, or if the confirmation number they provided was a TAW confirmation number, and not a Disney confirmation number. So I guess at this point, I'm just waiting to see what they say back. If I can't link it, I think I'd rather keep the Priceline reservation (TAW has the same cancellation policy, as long as I cancel up to 72 hours before my stay, I'm fine) and hope for the best with the note on my account.
Once I hear back from TAW, I'll come back here and let you know how that goes.
