Tickets at the gate?

Could anyone tell me whether tickets are more expensive to buy at the entrance gates or not.

We are planning to go in September with our 3 years old son. I do not want to pay in advance, but some friends of mine told me that it could be more expensive to buy at the gate. Is it true?

One disadvantage of buying at the gate is there will probably be a queue to buy tickets whereas if you have them you can go straight into the park.

Where are you planning on staying?

If you are staying on site in a Dis hotel and book a package (this neednt include transport) your 3 yr old will be free as theres a special under 7s free promotion on at the moment. Im not sure if you will get him free if you just buy at the gates.

Or if you buy an annual pass you can get him a free one as well
