Tickets at Guest relations DD- advance or gate price?

What is the cost of 7 day hopper plus tickets (adult and child) at DD guest relations? I don't think they accept Disney Club discount anymore. I would like to purchase the 5 day hopper pass offered through Mousesavers newsletter and then upgrade it at DD guest relations. Would it be less expensive to just purchase the 7 day hopper through a broker? Any place to get upgrades at advance price? THANKS!

You'll pay full price at DtD just like you would at the parks.

You can never get an upgrade at an advance purchase price. That's because Disney is the only one who can do the upgrade and only at WDW itself where they only use the higher gates prices when they do it.

FYI: If you purchase a pass through an independent ticket broker and then decide to upgrade it, you will lose any discount you got on the original ticket and you will be charged the gate price for the new one.

Example (ficticious prices): You pay a broker like Ticketmania $260 for a 5 day PHP. You decide you want to upgrade the still unused 5 day PHP at WDW to a 7 day PHP. Disney will only give you credit for the wholesale price that they charged Ticketmania, not the retail price you purchased the ticket at. So you would get a credit somewhere around $230 and have to pay Disney the price difference between that and the $350 7 day PHP price.
