Tickets at Disney Store

If I purchase hoppers at the local Disney Store do they charge the gate price or the advanced purchase price, or another price inbetween?

Also I was comparing prices and AAA was more expensive than the gate price. Why is that. Disney website lists the gate price for a 5 day hopper+ as $259.00 (adult) and AAA lists their price for this ticket as $261.84. That is not a savings.

I bought 5 day PHs from the Disney store last fall and they were the advance purchase price including FL tax. Call ahead though, when we tried to buy 4 day PH at the beginning of the year they didn't have them and I had to order online instead.

I don't know if the AAA price includes tax, but the 259.00 is before the 6.5% tax. The 5-day hopper plus WITH tax would be something like 275.84 at the gate and at the advance purchase price it would be around 263.06. If the AAA price DOES include tax, it is a better deal.

The Disney Store park hoppers are discounted about $12. They have 4 & 5 day regular park hoppers and 5-7 day park hopper plus. Another advantage of purchasing passes from The Disney Store is that you receive two receipts for the tickets. The second receipt you keep with you and if something happens to your passes or you forget them, you simply present the second receipt at the parks, they will cancel out the old passes and issue you new passes on the spot!
