I need an opinion or 2 on this. We aren't going again until next Febuary - we went for March break this year:) So, should I get my tickets for next year at the Disney store now. :confused3 My mom is in Ontario this week, and she went to check for me yesterday. But, the sales clerk said that I don't need to get them yet, that they get them every month - no problem. I want them at par. Do you think this will change in the near future. Am I thinking too far ahead? I live on the Miramichi, so the closest Disney store is a mear 5 hour drive each way. My sister lives right by one in Ontario, so she can always pick them up for me. Help!!!

Also, should we buy hoppers or 4 day passes. We will only be there 3 days, we are going on the 7 day Eastern Carribean cruise, but want to squeeze a few days in at the parks before we cruise. I just though hoppers, but it seems like many of you are suggesting the extra day regular passes.

Please give me your thoughts.

The prices at the Disney Store will change once or twice a year. Remember no park hoppers means if you go into Magic Kingdom in the morning, you cannot go to Epcot in the afternoon.
My advise would be to get the passes now... they won't expire until 14 days after first use.... get the Park Hopper and leave no regrets!!

Thanks.

I was thinking that if I used one pass in the morning, say for Magic Kingdom. Then, use another day pass in the afternoon for Epcot. Can I do that? It seems like it is cheaper to add a day than to add the hopper? We will only be there 3 days - with 4 parks, that means we have to split one of those days, if we want to go to all of the parks. :confused3

Unfortunately Disney has already thought of this and doesn't allow it. If you want to park hop on the same day you need the park hopper.

Check out this thread on the Theme Parks board for lots of good info on tickets.

Going tonight to get 6x 7day parkhopper passes at 296.05 ea. (CND) for our upcoming trip in July ...woohoo.... it should be 278.00 US $$$ boooo.... i will take every savings that i can..... (so my wife tell me)

When I called the Disney Store in Mic Mac Mall (Dartmouth) the other day the woman told me that the price has been the same for 11 months - so you can read into this one of two things. 1- the price doesn't change very often OR 2 - its been 11 months, so it may soon! LOL

I guess if you know you will use them, and buying them now won't be a financial burden on you (meaning they won't sit on a credit card for a few months) then I would get them now because at the very best, the price will stay the same - I can't see it going down.

I got a 7 day ticket for 242 each for adults, and 205 for kids. Base tickets. The disney package I bought priced the 4 tickets at 985 (10 days) and 955 for 7 days - and that was US$$. So it cost me 894 Cdn

I just bought 5 day park hopper with the water park option from the Disney Store in the MicMac Mall in Dartmouth. I think I paid $342 CDN for the adult pass and $302 CDN for the child pass.

Overall, I think I saved about $300 dollars from the US prices, given the low exchange rate.

We did go on Wed. night and picked up the 6 x 7day park hopper adult passes @ 296.05 Canadian each including taxes....$1776.30 Canadian.... the US sites are at 278.00 for 7 days plus 6.5% FLA tax = 376.00 per ticket Canadian using 1.27 on exchange rate as of Wed. so a savings of $480.00 CND aprox. ..... just means more souviner money......(as my wife tells me):lmao:

Do not know how many days you went for in March but it may have made sense to upgrade your pass to an annual pass or non expiring pass for more days. When you have two trips in less than a twelve month period an annual pass is often less expensive than two park hopper passes and you can get other discounts.
