Tickets and Packages

We hope to be in the World this Fall, using a package. (Rooms, tix and dining). Two questions:

1) I think that I read somewhere that you do not have to get tickets for the full stay in order for it to qualify as a package. What is the minimum number of tickets we would have to get.

2) My understanding is that if we opt for the no park hopper tickets - everyone has to do the same. In other words, if one person gets park hopper we are all required to get park hopper. True? After arrival and check in, after entering the park, can an individual updateTHEIR ticket (add hopper), much like you would if you bought a ticket from an outside vender.

1) One-day or two-day ticket, depending on the package and options.

2a) Yes.

2b) True.

2c) Yes.

1) Two-day ticket.

A two day ticket is required to get FD, but if you are paying for the dining plan, only a one day ticket is required. Each person on the reservation must have the exact same ticket type. Yes, you can upgrade the tickets however you need to once you go though the gate.
