Tickets and Magic Bands

Quick question. I booked my resort room months ago, and just yesterday purchased my park tickets. The confirmation says that my tickets will be mailed to me, but I can see them when I log into My Disney Experience, and they are assigned to each member in our party. When I receive the hard tickets in the mail will I have to link them to my magic bands, or has that already been done?

It's already been done.

You never have to actually touch those tickets.
No reason for them to have been shipped.

In the future, know that when ordering tickets from Disney, choose "Will Call"
and that way they will be "at" WDW, should you ever need them during your trip.
Otherwise, they will not be necessary.

Robo answered the main question, but I wanted to make sure you are clear on the bolded phrases above.

Nothing is "on" a magic band. It is only a link to your MDE account. So if your tickets are linked to your account, and your MB is linked, the MB will be able to access the ticket info.

It seems like a minor point, but when people understand that, they tend to understand the way the system works much better.
