I was just reading the box on hte right called disney news and updates--I wwas interested in the price increase

when I clicked on that I found some reasonable prices and ticket options for DVC and i was wondering if it was really worth it

for I think it was 300+ for weekdays with hopper--we paid about that much for our 5 day hopper this yr!!!

this seems almost to good!!!--we could easily plan our park days for the weekdays

good idea or are there other options
we just bought into the DVC when we were there in Jan so this is new to us but Im having alot of fun planning it

thanks for any tips or advice

There are only two ticket discount options for DVC members: Discounted annual passes (which are available all of the time) and a limited-time offer on MYW tickets that includes a free day and free WPF&M when you add hopping. They are regular MYW tickets and are not restricted to weekday-only use.

What tickets are you seeing for "300+ for weekdays with hopper"? Can you provide a link?

ETA: I went back to the forum homepage and looked for the article that you're talking about. Then I followed the link for ticket prices that was in the article. The chart is confusing, but I think that you're referring to the Silver AP? The chart makes it look as if those tickets are available to FL residents and DVC owners alike. But if you scroll down and read the descriptions, the Silver AP is only for FL residents. DVC Members can buy Gold APs but not Silver.

Log on to your DVC account under the explore your account scroll down to member perks and you will see the special offer for the tickets.. it is an ok deal but they can be purchased for less for most of the offers... if you did not set up your DVC online account you can call member services the tickets can MUST be purchased by March 31 but are good to use anytime.
