Tickets -7day PH or 10 day base?

I was just looking at various ticket prices and was considering the following:
We're going for 9 days - arrive 3 PM day 1, depart 6 PM day 9. was considering a 7 day PH. I know we'll do one day at Universal and maybe one at Seaworld. I really don't think I'll park hop every day. It's about $28 cheaper to get the 10 day ticket. I'm assuming if I want to park hop with the 10 day that I can but it will use 2 days instead of 1. Am I right? So I could get 7 park hoppings days or get 9 days,with 1 park hopping, 8 days w/2 PH, or 7 days with 3 PH and save $28.

Am I missing anything?

From what I've read, you can only park hop if you have the park hopper option. So no, it won't use up an extra day - it won't let you in.

If you don't opt for the PH and try to go to a second park the same day, it will not recognize it as a 2nd park... it will not let you in, because you have been to that one park for that day, and that is it. They have to be used on different days. Sorry!

If you think you want to park hop, you might want to add that feature to give you that option.

Thanks for the reply's. I didn't realize that using a 'second' day to PH would not be allowed.
