We will be going to DW for 8 days total. I want to devote some time to non-park activities, like resort hopping. I want to spend at least a day in a water park, and mini-golfing, and maybe an evening at Disney Quest. Here is my question:

If I buy a 5 day park hopper with water parks and more option, am I restricted to the same 5 days to use the WP+ option, or can I visit parks five days, and a water park on day 6? I hate to spend the extra $ for more days, but if I have to, I will. Any advice?

The ticket is valid for 14 days from first use; you can use any park, waterpark, or extra entries over the course of those 14 days.

I believe the 5 day water park and more pass is for 5 days total. You do have 14 days to use it from the day you begin use. So you would have to use the water portion as 1 of those days.

A 5 day park hopper with water parks and more means that you can go to more than one park per day using the hopper option or you can go to one waterpark or more option using one of those. So, if you did AK until the afternoon and hopped over to Epcot for dinner, you have only used one day of admission. You have 5 days of admission to the major parks and 5 admissions to the waterparks and more. So, if day after AK/EP you decide that it was a long day and you want to rest and go to a waterpark, you have now used up one of the waterpark and more options. But then the kids are bored that evening so you go to DisneyQuest. Well, now you have used 2 of the waterpark and more options in one day. Those two days leave you with 4 more park hopping admissions and 3 waterpark and more options.

Does that make sense?

All of those answers seemed confusing to me (because it's difficult to describe) so I'm going to try.

You have 5 main park days (MK, ak, ep, HS).
You also have 5 wp&m entitlements.

All of those are available to use within 14 days of 1st use. Wp&m are entries, while park tickets are "days". So, for example if you wanted to water park and disney quest on the same day, that would use 2 of your entitlements.

So essentialy with a 5 day ticket with the wp&m option you can have as many as 10 days of fun.

That was the answer I was hoping for. Thanks to everyone who responded.

Note: You do not need the hopping feature to go to one theme park and also go to a water park (or to go to both a water park and Disney Quest) on the same day using your park ticket with water park fun.
