It looks like the ticketbrokers will be able to sell the MYW passes. FloridaOrlandoTickets.net has their prices listed already.

So has Mapleleaftickets.com .

The prices are slightly lower than Disney's advance sale prices, if you take into consideration that allearsnet.com and mousesavers.com do not factor the 6.5% sales tax into the cost of the tickets that they've posted on their websites, while the ticketbrokers do include the costs.

Ticketmania.com will be posting their prices later today.

Thank you! Glad to see there WILL be discounted tix still available!

This is quite interesting as the discount seems to vary by the number of days AND by the number of options you add. Here is a summary of the savings for 4 and 7 day passes using floridaorlandotickets.net adult prices:

4-day Pass Savings

Base - $3.03
Base+Hopper - $4.30
Base+Plus Pack - $7.55
Base+No Expire - $8.00
Premium - $30.23
Premium + No Expire - $26.20

7-day Pass Savings

Base - $11.94
Base+Hopper - $15.21
Base+Plus Pack - $21.86
Base+No Expire - $15.49
Premium - $18.14
Premium + No Expire - $40.71

Not sure I understand why the discount would be greater for the premium 4-day pass than the premium 7-day pass. Other than that, it seems like you generally get a bigger discount with more days and more options.

Thanks for posting :). However, the MYW ticket prices posted on www.mousesavers.com do show all tickets and options with tax.

Does anyone know if TDS will sell MYW tickets? TDS in my mall (Deptford, NJ) didn't have a clue.

In comparing the Disney advance prices as posted on Mousesavers and reading through the advance prices at Maple Leaf Tickets, Ticket Mania and Florida Orlando Tickets there doesn't seem to be any real purpose in purchasing the 10 day MYW non-expiring premium advance tickets through ticket brokers. I think I'll just phone WDW on Sunday or Monday and order my tickets through them to be picked up at "Will Call" on Tuesday evening.

Are you sure of your numbers?

From what I can tell, Disney will be charging $401.51 (with tax) for an adult 10-day MYW Premium Pass w/no exp.

Florida Orlando Tickets is charging $379 plus shipping.

Mapleleaf is also charging $379 but their shipping charges are better.

So far, Ticketmania doesn't have the 10-day passes on their site.

Thank you so much for posting this. I am getting so excited. WOnderful news!!

Have a wonderful New Years!!!!

dcmbshafe,

That's correct. The longer you stay, the cheaper it is per day. For the normal MYW ticket a 5 day with hopper option is $235.37 w/tax or $47.07 a day, while a 10 day hopper option is $247.08 w/tax or $24.71 a day. So basically for about $2.30 a day more more you can get a 10 day ticket instead of a 5 day.

I read a post earlier this week that said that the MYW tickets were going to use the biometric scanner? Did I misunderstand? I would like to purchase tickets for my husband and I, but would like to use them when my girlfriend and I visit the park this summer.

Has anyone seen Hotwires price on the tickets yet?

That is also what I've heard. Your friend will not be able to use your husband's leftover days.

For those of you who do this, I believe I read somewhere that you will no longer beable to buy tickets as gifts. I believe that your name will now be printed on the tickets, I guess just like your name is on an AP. Of course no one truely knows until Sunday morning, but my guess is that they are trying to stop people from selling unused days on ebay or have people pass them off to others.

I was in The Disney store on Wed. and they said they will be selling the MYW tickets, I spoke with the Manager and she said they would be going through a 5 hour training session before Jan. 2nd.

That is probably what the reservation people are doing today and Saturday while the systems are being updated.

If you think that it is hard to get ahold of them when codes are released, try to get someone on Sunday. I am sure that it is going to be one of the the busiest days at Disney reservations.

It wouldn't have been so bad if they were just adding the new tickets or the new packages, but since they are offering both at the sametime that will add to the length of the calls.
