Ok I just made our very first reservation for our new home resort, Saratoga Springs. Do I buy tickets through member services now or do I still get them from the website like before. We also are planning to add the dining option. Also, if I called today to order tickets do I pay for them now? One member of our party is actually not sure if she's going so I don't want to buy tickets if she's not going. TIA

You may buy your tickets anywhere you please (including at the resort when you check in). MS does not sell tickets. There is no requirement to buy tickets through DVC or at check in. In fact, you can almost certainly find a better price elsewhere - check out the budget board or the them park boards for recommendations.

There are no DVC member discounts on tickets - unless you want an annual or premium annual pass. Only you and your immediate family members who live at your address are eligible for the discount on APs/PAPs.

No matter where you buy tickets, you generally pay for them when they are ordered.

You must add the Dining Plan (call MS to add it) at least 48 hours prior to check in and you pay for it when you check in. You have to order it for every member of uparty for the entire length of your stay, so you may want to wait until you know for sure who is going before you call MS.

Best wishes-

Thanks for replying. So let's say I order tickets from ticketmania or somewhere. How do I add the dining on to the tickets if they didn't come from Disney. Or will they just give you a seperate card for dining?

The way it was explained to me was that the dining option will be added to your room key. At your meals, present your room key. If you buy tickets at check-in, they too will be added to your key. If you purchase tickets somewhere else, only the dining option will be on the key.
