We have off-site accommodations for all but one night. If we stay on property one night, but purchase 4 days of park hopper tickets will we be able to use those tickets the days we are not staying on property? Also, will the magic band still work beyond the one night that we stay to get us in and out of the park if the tickets are valid? Just wondering if it is of any value to book through WDW (and get fast passes 60 days ahead instead of 30) for the one night and 4 days tickets, or if I should just go through someone like Undercover Tourist. Thanks in advance for your help!

Yes, Absolutely.

Yes, you can reuse Magicbands on a completely different trip if you want. They will always be tied to you in the MDE app and as long as you have valid tickets tied to the account as well, they can be used.

I always buy my tickets from Undercover tourist even when I book through Disney. The thing I am not sure about is if you only stay one night can you book fastpasses for all four days at the 60 day timeframe. I dont think so, but maybe someone else can answer that.

It doesn't matter who you book your 1 night on property with. You will still be able to book FP+ 60 days ahead for the day of your WDW resort stay and the day after.
