Ticket usage question

If I buy a 4-day 3-park ticket, how much time do I have to use the tickets? Any 4 days within, say, 7 days? Must they be used consecutively once the first day is activated?

We are starting at WDW and moving to Universal at the end of our trip. We will have lots of downtime while at Disney thanks to no hopping or water parks so my DH suggested we use one day to visit VB toward the end of our Disney stay. I don’t know if that is possible unless tickets are good for at least 7 days because we would use the other days once we check into RPR.

Thanks for asking. I assumed you didn't have to use them consecutively but now am worried. We bought the same pass for next summer.

The tickets we bought say "Ticket is valid for any four (4) calendar days during a seven (7) consecutive calendar day period which includes the first day the ticket is activated."
