Dumb question: I assume that you have to upgrade a pass before you use the last day on it...or is there some other timetable for upgrades.

Yes you do need to upgrade before you use all the days except for the FL Res Play 4 day pass. That I think you have a time frame after using the days to convert it into a seasonal or annual. Once you do that your aniversary date is the date which you first used the 4 day pass, not the date you converted it.......
