Ticket Upgrades

I'm planning on booking a 8 day MYW package with only a single day base ticket for each of us and then upgrading as we see fit when we arrive at disney. My question is do all tickets have to upgraded in the same manner, or can I upgrade them individually as we need? (kids may want to go to more parks than parents)

I suppose if this can't be done, I can buy seperate park tickets ahead of time??

They can be upgraded individually. The only time they must be the same is when initially order them on the package. Once at WDW, you can upgrade as many or as few as you like to whatever you need.
