Just read on another board, that if you havea 10 day pass with WP & DQ that you can potentially have 20 days of activities at the parks? Going to a park on one day and the next day spending the day at the waterparks...so 10 days of themeparks and 10 days of waterparks or DQ....is this right?
Also I have a 7 day base ticket already that i got from the disney store, so would I be able to upgrade my ticket to 7 day WP no expiry after hitting the parks for a day?
Sorry, im sure this is very basic knowledge that ive some how missed. TIA

Since the passes expire 14 days after the first use you would need to purchase the no experation option to give you the 20 seperate days of use.

And yes you can upgrade your base ticket at the park.

The whole pass will be upgraded to non expiry. You cannot just pay to have a portion of the pass done.

Check out this great thread on the Theme Park boards that explains most every ticket question that you can think of.

Also if you only have a base ticket and don't add the park hopper option you can only go to one theme park per day. The WP&M option admissions work independantly from the theme park ticket admissions. In other words you can go to Blizzard Beach in the morning and then go to Magic Kingdom in the afternoon. If you wanted to go to DisneyQuest in the afternoon instead you can do this but it would be another admission off of the WP&M option.
